Baptism of Jesus

Jesus was baptized by John, his older cousin, who was seen by many as the highest spiritual leader in the remnant of Israel, so that all things would be fulfilled. Early followers of Jesus feared professing him as the Christ, the king, because if they got His Baptism accepting Jesus as the Christ they would be “put out[1] of the network of synagogues which provided the welfare for the people through the bad corban provided at their government temple by “men who called themselves benefactors but exercised authority one over the other”.
Because Jesus had called out His disciples, commanded them to organize the people in small groups of tens, and appoint His little flock a kingdom, together they were able to quickly set a daily ministration to provide welfare for the people through a network of charity alone which was called Pure Religion. The social welfare provided by men who exercise authority makes the word of God to none effect. It is the covetous practices of rulers like FDR and LBJ that calls to repent Repent.
